I have had Ipod classic for over a year now it is amazing

Bought this ipod as i lost my old nano 3g, i was really pleased with it, bigger screen, felt better to hold and battery lasts SO long! A good bargain for the price, although the Ipod touch isnt far off now so really consider it.
But you know you get excellent build quality, great sound and exactly what you want with an ipod.
Ipod Classic is a good start if your new to ipods, its not too small you cant find it, but not too big you hate it.

This purchase was made following a party at a friend's house earlier this year, it would seem all there had an IPod of one description or another and was able to include their music on the play list.
With various "MP3" previous purchase's that had purely satisfied my own musical needs the notion of carrying my full collection of music everywhere seemed to good to miss.
The Classic is now part of a family of IPods owned by `the family' (Nano and Touch are the others) The Classic holds nearly 500 CDs and 5000 songs with only 35GB used this also includes a few photographs (c.500) I can now purchase single songs online to add to personal playlists `fantastic' not to mention themed parties like our recent Halloween do with carefully selected sound track.
Probably the best addition to my music collection ever... don't consider the rest IPod IS THE BEST... Enjoy I know I do, only another 1000 cd's before this baby is full...

the first one i had delivered just wouldnt sync with the itunes software,it was replaced with another unit no hassle very promptly,which was absolutely superb,worked perfectly.
some of the issues above written by other reviewers would probably be resolved by swapping for another unit.the difference between the unit returned & the new unit is unbelievable.
